Continuing Education Class: Neuromuscular Therapy on the Neck

Date: Sunday, August 13, 2017. 9:00AM-5:00PM. 

Class: Neuromusculartherapy is a specialized form of deep tissue message in which digital pressure and friction is used to release trigger points in the muscle. In this class, participants will learn neuromuscular techniques to identify and treat neck problems that are caused by a variety of sources, such as bad sitting postures, stress, injuries, and bad sleeping positions.

Credits: 8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs) and Acupuncture Physicians (APs).

Instructor: Yusniel Marin, LMT, M.Ed. Yusniel is an experienced massage therapist and educator. He is licensed by the State of Florida Board of Massage Therapy and has a Masters of Education.  

What to Bring and Wear:

  • Oil or Cream
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Towel and hand towel
  • Sheets
  • Wear comfortable and loose-fitting clothing (shorts, sports bra, etc.)
  • Be prepared to give and receive massages  

Price: $125 for AMC students and graduates. $150 for non-alumni LTM's and APs.
