Accreditation and Affiliations - Acupuncture and Massage College

Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami, Florida is a nationally-accredited college, proudly approved by various departments of the US Government, and is a member of different professional organizations.

Why Accreditation Matters

Accreditation is proof that a college has met specific institutional and educational standards set by the US Department of Education to protect students. ACAHM is recognized by the United States Department of Education as the specialized accreditation agency for institutions/programs preparing acupuncture and herbal medicine practitioners. US Government

US Federal Government

US Department of Education: Acupuncture and Massage College is certified by the U.S. Department of Education for Title IV funds. Students who qualify are eligible for Financial Aid.

Veteran’s Administration (VA): Acupuncture and Massage College is approved by the US Veteran’s Administration for the training of veterans and eligible persons under the provisions of Title 38, United States Code. VA benefits can be applied to tuition.

Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR): Acupuncture and Massage College is approved by the US Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR). Students who are approved by DVR will have their tuition and fees subsidized by DVR.

State of Florida Board of Massage Therapy: The Certificate of Massage Therapy curriculum at Acupuncture and Massage College is approved by the State of Florida Board of Massage Therapy for the education and vocational training of massage therapists. Graduates of the program are able to sit for the national Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEx), which is required for legal employment as a massage therapist in Florida.

State of Florida Board of Acupuncture: The Masters of Oriental Medicine curriculum at Acupuncture and Massage College is approved by the State of Florida Board of Acupuncture for the education and vocational training of acupuncture physicians. Graduates of the Oriental Medicine program are able to sit for the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) Exam, consisting of the Acupuncture with Point Location Exam, Biomedicine Exam, Chinese Herbology Exam, and the Foundations of Oriental Medicine Exam.
