Application Instructions for International Students

As an academic institution of higher education, Acupuncture and Massage College is authorized to issue a Certificate of Eligibility, Form I-20 for the application of F-1 or M-1 Visa.

International students interested in enrolling at AMC must comply with all admissions requirements listed under Admission Requirements and with the following additional requirements:

  1. 1. Application for Admission
  2. 2. If written in a foreign language, foreign students must have their official transcripts accompanied by a certified document providing English translation of course names, hours, and grading system. College work completed outside of the United States must be translated and evaluated by a certified foreign transcript evaluation agency.
  3. 3. All I-20 international students are required to enroll full–time, as well as for the purpose of immigration for a minimum of 12 months each year.  International students must also submit a Declaration of Finance form to be completed by their banks or Sponsor’s Bank. This document must show sufficient financial resources to cover one academic year and living costs.

International applicants will also have to interview at the US Embassy or Consulate. To learn about these requirements, please visit the Student Visa section of the Department of Homeland Security website.
