Schreiber Pain Relief Method (PRM) CEU at Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami, Florida

The Schreiber Pain Relief Method (PRM) is a specialized approach to identifying and treating bodily pain through a unique therapeutic system that combines neuromuscular massage, active isolated stretching and trigger point therapy techniques.

 

 

Classes: In conjunction with the Schreiber Pain Relief Institute, Acupuncture and Massage College will offer two different seminars on PRM:

Class 1: Introduction to the Schreiber Pain Relief Method (PRM)

  • Learn the philosophy, benefits, and terminology of the Schreiber Pain Relief Method
  • Participate in a live assessment protocol utilizing PRM
  • Participate in a live treatment session

Credits4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Occupational Therapist Assistants (OTAs).

Dates: One-day seminar. August 9, 2018: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM or August 24, 2018: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

Class 2: Schreiber Pain Relief Method Assessment Course

  • Learn the Schreiber Pain Relief Method (PRM) to assess and treat pain
  • Learn how to conduct a PRM assessment of pain, posture, gait, range of motion (ROM)
  • Conduct and document an assessment intake. 

Credits: 12 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Occupational Therapist Assistants (OTAs). 

Price: $299.

Dates: Two-day seminar. August 25, 2018: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM and August 26, 2018: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Instructor: John Schreiber, LMT, is the founder and owner of the Schreiber Pain Relief Institute. He has been in business since 1985 and has over 30 years of experience as a professional massage therapist. In addition to PRM, Schreiber is the inventor of Corrective Soft Tissue Therapy. His extraordinary talent as a massage therapist is partially due his blindness, which has given him a heightened sense of therapeutic touch.
