Battlefield Acupuncture is an auriculotherapy protocol (ear acupuncture) that is one of the strongest protocols for pain reduction. It is sometimes faster than most Western Medicines. Results can be seen in minutes. The protocols use a specific type of auricular needle known as an ASP® needle. This CEU consists of two courses: Basic Battlefield Acupuncture and Advanced Battlefield Acupuncture.

During the afternoon clinical portion, the technique will be demonstrated on volunteers. Following the treatments, you will have the opportunity to practice and perfect the technique.

Instructor: Dr. John Howard, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac. completed a 5-year fellowship (2005-2010) with Dr. Niemtzow. During this time, he began co-teaching the BFA protocol with Dr. Niemtzow. Since 2009, John has taught Battlefield Acupuncture throughout the United States and Europe to acupuncturists, medical doctors, and the US Military, NATO, VA, and Indian Health Services physicians.
