Workshop Description:
Tui Na is one of the most unique systems of Massage Therapy. It utilizes the theories of Chinese Medicine and works very much like Acupuncture but without the use of needles. The focus of the treatment is to remove energy blockages and to improve the range of movement.
This weekend workshop will cover ten basic Tui Na hand techniques. Participants will also learn Dragon Gate Qi Kung, a 16th century Taoist Qi Kung especially designed to enhance the delivery of potent Qi to your hands.
Instructor: Dr. Richard Browne
Richard Browne is one of the first licensed and certified Acupuncture Physician in the State of Florida. He is the Director of the Southeast Institute of Oriental Medicine. Since 1967 Dr. Browne has studied the Oriental philosophy and its various systems with Masters from India, China, Japan, Korea and Thailand.
Dr. Browne is the founder and Chief Instructor of the Poetry in Motion - Tai Chi Chuan School. He has practiced Taoism and Tai Chi Chuan for over 25 years and Reiki Palm Healing for 20 years. As a proficient speaker he has taught numerous seminars, appeared on local television and radio, and has been a featured speaker to numerous groups throughout the State.
Registration Cancellation Policy:
If the cancellation is made at least 10 days prior to workshop a refund, less a $25.00 processing fee, will be issued. If cancellation is made after this 10 day period but prior to three days before the workshop, SEIOM will retain 50% of the non-discounted course fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made 3 or fewer days prior to the start of the workshop.

Workshop Cancellation Policy If, one week prior to the workshop start date, the workshop does not fulfill minimum enrollment requirements, SEIOM reserves the right to cancel the workshop. In the event of cancellation, registrants will receive a full refund of monies paid to SEIOM.
