The Ricky Williams Scholarship


The Ricky Williams Scholarhsip is in honor of Miami Dolphins Football Star Ricky Williams.


Ricky Williams is not only a top athlete, he is also a man driven to make the world a better place. He has spent time in India studying Asian Medicine (Ayurveda,) yoga and meditation. He is the model for our scholarship program.




Scholarship Guidelines

Every year AMC will pick five recipients to receive a $5,000 Ricky Williams Scholarship program.

Scholarship Requirements
  • African-American descent.

  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

  • Minimum 21 years of age.

  • High School Diploma, or GED equivalent.

  • Outstanding Academic, Athletic, and/or Civic Achievements.

  • Must maintain a 3.0 GPA while in the program.
  • Must have a clean record.
Scholarship Procedure
  1. Must Complete School Application
  2. Must Submit 500 word Essay on their outstanding achievement, and goals in their health care profession.
  3. Submit 3 letters of recommendation
