Dr. Tiejun Li Joins Acupuncture & Massage College Teaching Staff
Joining AMC this year as an Oriental Medicine program teacher, Dr. Li previously taught at the South West Acupuncture College, Boulder campus and the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Denver. For the Winter 2009 semester, beginning January 5, Dr. Li will be teaching Essentials of Chinese Medicine. The class provides a foundation in traditional Chinese medicine history and theory. Learn Your Life Purpose with Fingerprint Analysis
Learn to read fingerprints and their basic print patterns with Elijah Nisenboim in his one-day workshop “Your Purpose Is in Your Hands.” The workshop will teach attendees how to read the life purpose and the keys to unlocking it found in the fingertips. This interactive class will be held on Saturday, January 17, 10 am to 5 PM, on the AMC campus. Cost $100.
FREE activities and lunch at AMC’s Chinese New Year Celebration!
Acupuncture & Massage College’s Chinese New Year celebration includes free seminars on Chinese herbal medicine for health and acupuncture for common ailments, free mini-massages, free lunch including some traditional Asian dishes as well as standard fare, free refreshments, and a giveaway raffle! A performance of sitar music by Miami-based musician Ryan Browne will be followed by Chinese dancers performing a New Year celebration dance.
The Chinese New Year event will be held on Saturday, January 31, 10 am to 3pm on AMC’s campus, located at 10506 N. Kendall Drive, Miami. Everyone is cordially invited to attend!
Tai Chi and Meditation Class
Join us at Acupuncture & Massage College for our new Tai Chi and Meditation class, beginning Saturday, February 7! The class will be held on the AMC campus, located at 10506 N. Kendall Drive, Miami. The class will meet every Saturday from 10 to 11 am. Fee: $15 per class or $50 per month. Bring a friend and have fun!
